SHORT BLURB:

The plot thickens as we celebrate Sylvia and Richard’s 45th wedding anniversary, where everyone brings their baggage to the table, and where love, lust, and the occasional lapse in judgment are on the menu.

This is a farcical, highly entertaining evening of theatre with a zany cast of characters.

(Note: Though you don't need to be a trained dancer, there is some choreography, so it'd be great if you can move/dance to some degree.)

CAST OF CHARACTERS:

SYLVIA MONTCLAIR: The hostess and fitness influencer (mid-60’s) hiding behind a perfectly curated life, desperate for validation; willing to risk it all for more “likes” — and a few secret bites of sourdough.

RICHARD MONTCLAIR: The host, (mid 60’s - 70) a retired plastic surgeon mourning the loss of his manly youth, clinging to the idea that attention from any alpha female is the key to regaining his glory days.

MONA: A voluptuous 30-something floozy from the Bronx with a ladder-climbing obsession, stepping on anyone to get ahead. A hybrid between Jessica Rabbit and a Karen Walker wannabe.

HARVEY: A sleazy former mobster (mid to late 50’s) desperately in love with Mona and willing to do whatever it takes to protect his hefty Double-D investment in her. His love knows no bounds — but is he willing to kill for it?

CHAD: A handsome 30-something, well-built Mexican tennis coach in the closet, confused about which side of the net he wants to play on, as his hidden hetero tendencies - and infatuation with Sylvia - rise to the surface.

FRANCOIS: Chad’s flamboyant, insecure lover (30’s-40's) from an undisclosed foreign country, doing his best to not only master the English language, but also the elusive language of love. He’ll do whatever it takes to hold on to his “bi…lingual” man.

MOPEY MOLLY: A lovesick mess, this forlorn waitress (40’s) is fed up with betrayal, searching for love in all the wrong places. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer, she’s got a dish of self-pity ready to serve, keeping her eye on the brass - or diamond - ring.

INSPECTOR CROISSANT: A novice sleuth (50’s-60-s) likely on his or her first detective gig, armed with an ever-changing array of accents and questionable tactics. The Inspector discovers that he or she might actually have a knack for finding truth under an enormous pile of deception.
